Inbox Briefs is a personal tool operated by its owner for the owner's own use. It accesses Google user data only from Gmail accounts that the owner personally connects.
What is accessed. Email messages and labels in the connected Gmail accounts, through the Gmail API, to classify and summarize incoming mail and to apply labels, read state and archiving within those same accounts.
Where data lives. All data is stored on a server the owner controls. Nothing is sold, shared, or transferred to any third party, except that message text is sent to an AI model provider's API for summarization under that provider's terms, which do not permit use of the data for training.
Who can use it. Only the owner. There is no public sign-up and no other users.
Revoking access. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates the stored credentials.
